I have been going to this Buffet for many years. The food selection is excellent and the service is also excellent. Empty plates are removed from your table immediately and drink refills are brought promptly. The service line is always well stocked and the food is hot. The only thing I don't understand is why don't they charge for your meal before you enter, like other Buffets do. This would prevent the "Dine & Dash" people.

I love this place, dinner buffet for 2 comes out to about $50 bucks which is a bargain for how much delicious food there is - I have never been disappointed coming here :)

An Underrated and underappreciated buffet for an affordable price. My father loves going to buffets, and this place is one worth posting a review. This place or organized, clean, and service is quick for a Sunday Lunch rush. More options for dessert versus other buffets with only a vanilla/chocolate ice cream machine. They also have a little bit of everything here: sushi selections, salads, fruits, fried noodles (hibachi style) and the usual main entrees. I would probably appreciate steamed crab legs, than fried craving legs but it's more of a personal choice. Great family vibes and people seem to leave happy

It was my first time in Hawaiian Gardens and it happened to be around noon so my husband searched a bit and we decided to go try East Buffet. There were quite a lot of people at noon on Friday. The receptionist was a middle-aged uncle who kindly greeted us and led us to our seats where was literally 2 steps away from aisle to get food. Price: Very reasonable price. An adult is $16.99 for lunch (11 am to 3:30 pm) from Monday to Friday, $21.99 for dinner (3:30 pm to 9 pm), and $22.99 for weekends and holidays. Ambiance: There were plenty of seats, and dining environment was very clean. However, the lighting was a bit dim and interior was old-fashioned. Food: Side dish, sashimi area, meat, vegetables, seafood, soup, desserts, fruits (it had cherries!), ice creams, and a separated teppanyaki area. The most part impressed me was the size of fried shrimps was big and fresh and the Chinese hot and sour soup contained a lot of mushrooms. Sushi tasted fresh, too. Service: The waitresses cleaned the table diligently and few can speak Mandarin. There are 2-hour limitation for enjoying the buffet. I would say overall it was worth the money.
